Chris Gordon is a professional musician who has spent the last 40 years performing, recording, composing, arranging, producing, publishing, or conducting music for advertisements heard on radio and television, theater stages, industrial films, recordings in the genres of R&B, big band, small-group jazz, and smooth jazz.

Tuscaloosa Horns

Chris is a co-founder of Tuscaloosa Horns with whom he has performed for over 40 years. They have been honored with a Bronze Star on the Alabama Music Hall of Fame’s Walk of Fame in Tuscumbia, Alabama. 


Chris regularly performs on piano and trumpet on stages across the US with The Tuscaloosa Horns.  They have also performed in Puerto Rico, the US and British Virgin Islands, Japan, Russia, The Czech Republic, Tunisia, and the Dominican Republic. They have accompanied Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and other recognizable notables, including:

The Temptations, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, The O’Jays, The Four Tops, The Spinners, Franki Valli & The Four Seasons, Gregg Allman, Wayne Newton, Jamey Johnson, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Percy Sledge, Barry Manilow, B.J. Thomas, Kenny Rogers, The Impressions, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Ben E.
